I am passionate about therapy and how it can improve people's lives. My inquisitiveness in human psyche and in how to help people who struggle has led me to acquire degree in Psychology from Volgograd State Pedagogical University, and Masters Degree in Community Guidance and Counseling from The University of Texas at El Paso. I am licensed as a Professional Counselor by Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (C2566) and as a Mental Health Counselor by Washington State Department of Health (LH60252271).

Being tri-lingual (Russian/Spanish/English) and highly competent in cultural diversity has helped to offer support to individuals and couples from former Soviet Union, Latin American, US and various European and Asian countries.

My main therapeutic approach is CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am Level 2 certified TEAM CBT therapist. However, my training as psychologist and counselor allows me the flexibility and creativity to draw on a wide range of psychological theories and clinical evidence and to integrate other therapeutic models to the individual needs of my clients.

I am committed to the healing role as a therapist. My goal is to create a secure and safe place in my office that allows patients to find their truths. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Gonzaga University and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University. I am licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (C5362).

I believe in the power of stories. I know the healing power of having a place to share personal stories with a person who genuinely cares. When patients come into my office, I want to help them chose how they write the next chapter in their stories. I do this through person-centered and trauma-informed care, informed by cultural sensitivity. My therapy connects the stories presented in the session with the people, places, and ideas that are important to my patients and lights the way for them to connect deeply to their true selves.

My primary model of therapy utilizes principles of attachment theory to reconnect people with their values and the things that give them meaning. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Family Systems Therapy, and Strength Based Therapy. I am Level 1 certified TEAM CBT therapist.

Specialties: Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Relationship issues, Family struggles, Parental difficulties, Trauma.

I hold Master's degrees in clinical social work and in human sexuality from Widener University. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers (license #8292).

I believe that everyone deserves to be listened to, and I understand the ways early experiences shape our present lives and relationships. I only use evidence-based modalities, and my therapeutic framework is based in trauma-informed CBT, DBT, harm reduction, and strengths-based approaches. I am Level 1 TEAM-CBT certified. Even small progress toward a goal is valuable and should be celebrated. I believe that every client is a whole person and deserves to be treated as one, not as merely their diagnosis or their demographics. What I find most gratifying in my work is seeing my clients become empowered to improve their own lives until they no longer need my help.
